Meet our centre manager
Hello! I’m Cassie, the Centre Manager at Alex Hills Early Education. With over two decades of experience in the Early Childhood Education field, I’ve held various roles from Educator to Area Manager, accumulating nine years of managerial experience, including three years supervising five Brisbane-based services.
Joining the AHEE team in January 2024, I bring a rich blend of knowledge, enthusiasm, and expertise that I’m eager to share with the educators, families, children, and community of Alexandra Hills.
I firmly advocate for equitable access to high-quality early education and care, where children feel secure, valued, and heard. Every child’s voice holds significance, and I take pride in fostering environments where they can actively contribute and offer feedback on their learning and play spaces.
At the core of our approach lies a play-based learning program. Recognizing the pivotal role of play in early childhood development, we prioritize nurturing positive peer relationships, social skills, and emotional intelligence. While literacy skills naturally develop over time, our foremost focus remains on fostering healthy brain development and positive neuro-pathways in our language-rich environments.
As a dedicated wife and mother of two, my life is bustling with activity. I find joy in the great outdoors, relishing camping trips and cherished moments with family and friends. Cooking is another passion of mine, and I love experimenting with new recipes to share with loved ones. Additionally, live music holds a special place in my heart, and I often find myself immersed in the energy of a live performance whenever the opportunity arises.
I feel honoured to be a part of your child’s journey through the early years, and I look forward to welcoming you to our extended family soon.
