Our Vision, Our Passion
‘Nurturing Growth From Within’
“Our emblem of the protea flower was specifically chosen as they are beautifully unique and come in many shapes and forms, just like our children. The protea flower symbolises diversity, courage and strength, whilst the gentle hands in our emblem represent our dedicated, nurturing staff at Alexandra Hills Early Education.
Our vision is to nurture our children’s individual needs and encourage courage and strength to flourish from within. We recognise that building social and emotional competence is far more important than focusing on just academic intelligence in the Early Years.”

The passionate owner-operators of AHEE
Heather is an experienced and passionate Early Childhood trained Prep Primary School teacher, qualified Forest School Leader and holds a degree in Languages and applied Linguistics and in Early Childhood Education. She is an advocate for getting children outdoors which led her to start a Bush Kindy program – A long time dream of hers.
Her qualifications have allowed her to explore diverse teaching roles in primary schools; interactively teach the Spanish language and also ESL (English as a Second Language). Building meaningful relationships with children and being a part of their holistic learning journey is where her true passion lies.
Chris has been self-employed in the building and plumbing trade for nearly 20 years. He has extensive experience in the building industry and management. He enjoys being hands-on and applies his expertise to the maintenance and development of the centre. He also loves to be creative and hands-on, with some of his creations for the centre being an outdoor Mud Kitchen, which he used recycled plumbing parts to create and a wooden pirate ship. There’s no denying he is a big kid at heart and is currently studying his Cert III in Children’s Services.
As parents, we understand that nurturing relationships are pivotal. We are focussed on manifesting respectful and meaningful relationships with our children, families and our community.
We look forward to personally meeting you all and truly believe it is a privilege to have the opportunity to be a part of your child’s learning journey at Alexandra Hills Early Education.

“As an Early Childhood Educator myself I’ve seen the good, the bad and the sad! This is place is outstanding! The environment is delightful and clean, the staff rock and their philosophy sees my grandchildren thriving through love. We love bush kindy. I wish for this level for care for all children.”
“We have seen Benji blossom during his time here, all because of your dedication, hard work, and affection. We just want to say ‘thank you’ for all that you do from nourishing him physically, to nurturing his mind and soul.”
